Choose how to install Coming soon
You do not have to download everything. Pick the smallest option that fits what you are building.
The npm packages are coming soon. Until then, copy icons from the website as SVG or JSX.
One icon
Copy a single icon into your project as a file. No dependency at all.
npx rdicons add lucide:houseOne library
A small package with just one icon library, for example Lucide.
npm i @rdicons/react-lucideEverything
All 18 libraries in one package. You still ship only what you import.
npm i @rdicons/reactWhich one should I pick?
| If you… | Use |
|---|---|
| need a handful of icons, or use Vue, Svelte, Angular, plain HTML… | One icon (the CLI writes SVG, JSX or TSX files) |
| build a React app and settled on one icon style | One library |
| build a React app and mix styles, or want to try many icons | Everything |
| want to see the exact code for an icon first | Open the icon on the website: the page shows the code for every option |
1. One icon (no dependency)
The CLI downloads the icon and saves it into your project. Nothing is added to package.json.
# SVG file (default)
npx rdicons add lucide:house
# React component, recolored, in src/icons
npx rdicons add lucide:house --format tsx --out src/icons --color "#4f46e5" --size 20
# several at once
npx rdicons add lucide:house tabler:bell ph:heart --format tsx --out src/iconsNot sure of the name? npx rdicons search "arrow right" lists matches, and npx rdicons info lucide:house prints the code for every option. More in the CLI guide.
2. One library
Each library has its own small package, named @rdicons/react-<library>.
npm install @rdicons/react-lucideimport { House, Bell } from '@rdicons/react-lucide'
<House size={20} /> <Bell size={20} color="#4f46e5" />| Library | Package | Icons |

3. Everything
One package with all libraries. Each library is an import path, and bundlers drop every icon you do not use.
npm install @rdicons/reactimport { House } from '@rdicons/react/lucide'
import { Home } from '@rdicons/react/tabler'It is large on disk because it holds all 78,636 icons. If disk size or install time matters, choose one library instead.
Ask instead of reading
The AI assistant knows all of this. Ask it things like "How do I install only the Solar icons in a Vite project?" and it answers with the exact commands and code.
Every icon page also has a Use this icon in your code section with the install command and import line, already filled in for that icon.
